MyMate started business approximately seven years ago.

We formed a hugely talented think tank, the objective of which was to develop high-end technical solutions for the financial and taxation needs industry sector. We were one of Australia’s first companies to produce a Lanux based java application for a Point-of-Sale system running under an encrypted partition with remote backup and restore. We then moved on to commercial hosting and various other technical solutions for Australian enterprise.

The MyMate team is made up entirely of specialist business consultants, I.T. practitioners (including ex-CIOs) with career backgrounds, I.T. Directors, Project Directors, Project Managers, Service Delivery Managers, Finance Managers, Administration Managers and Business Line Managers as well as Technical Specialists. Again, different from many other consulting organisations, MyMate people have held senior business and IT roles with leading Australian and global organisations such as: Telstra, Siemens, Fujitsu, UCMS, National Australia Bank, Dimension Data, TOLL Transport, Healthcare Rockwell EC and others.

Three years ago we developed what you now see offered at www.mymate.com.au. We could see the opportunity to translate out technical and business expertise for the benefit of the wider business community with targeted solutions for the technical and accounting needs of the individual self employed person. We believe most software is too complex: has too many pages and too many buttons - too much confusion for today’s busy person.
